It’s Alive! Now that I’ve read a few reviews of this, I really need to get it on the table. I bought it a few weeks back but haven’t managed to play it yet.

Thanks to BoardGameNews for the review.

I do my best to create designs that are usable in all browsers. However, for some reason, IE 6 (and likely older versions as well) just does not display the blog to it’s best. You can still read posts etc, but if things just look a bit off, try a more standards-compliant browser such as Opera, Firefox or even IE 7. All current Mac browsers work fine as well.

I’m unstickying this as I’ve fixed the display issues with IE6. It should work fine now. (crosses fingers)

The inaugural post. I can’t say that I’ve actually got that much to discuss, mostly due to the fact that I’m exhausted from a four day move-a-thon.

I suppose I should start by introducing myself, to those who don’t know me personally… My name is Oliver Harrison. I’m a web designer by trade, but really wish I was just  playing and designing board games all day long. Now that likely wouldn’t pay the bills, but it’d sure be cool.

SupernovaI’ve been working for nearly 2 years now on a game called Supernova. It’s due to be published early in 2008 by Valley Games so if you like tile placement games with some combat, check it out. It’s available for preorder on their site. You can also find a bit more about it here: Supernova.

I don’t claim to be an expert on design or gaming… so don’t take my rambling as anything much like an authority. However, I love to stir up good discussions, so feel free to comment, argue, or simply drop me a line via the contact form. I’d love to hear from you.
